What Your Car Says About You

The car we choose to purchase sometimes reveals more than what type of driver we are. It can reveal what type of personas you are most likely to find behind the wheel.

According to research made by the Manchester-based car finance provider Choose My Car, Britons who own Vauxhall Corsa are stereotypically seen to be chav wearing a fake Burberry hat and Berghaus jacket. While in fact, this rather thrifty vehicle is most likely to be driven by a teacher. Other results found that the car that is traditionally seen as a 'wannabe racer' is actually driven by healthcare professionals and care workers therefore you won't be seeing them speeding off at the traffic lights. 2. Ford Fiesta -Expectation: Most UK motorists think Ford Fiesta drivers are likely to be young men who are wannabe racers and have just passed their test. Vs Reality: The Ford Fiesta is the car of choice for health care assistants and support workers. You are likely to see this car out on the road in: Liverpool, Manchester, and Leeds.

3. Ford Focus -Expectation: Seen by UK drivers to be popular amongst young people who have just passed their test and are likely to have a P logo at the back of their car vs. Reality: The favourite car for the country's chefs. You are likely to see this car out on the road in: Sheffield, Bristol and Portsmouth.

4. Nissan Qashqai -Expectation: Seen as the “mum/nanny car” all about the school run and looking af...
