How can I make long car journeys easier with kids?

1. Install back seat mirrors

Back seat mirrors are attached to the headrests of your car's rear seats. And if you've got a child in the back using a rear-facing child seat, the mirrors enable you to see precisely how they're doing, via your own rear-view mirror. These back seat mirrors offer you peace of mind that your precious cargo is safe and happy, while also enabling you to focus on the road ahead.



2. Bring their favourite toys and games with you



Bringing a comforting teddy bear, a storybook (unless your child is prone to motion sickness) or even an iPad can make long journeys seem shorter for children. Queuing up children's films on Netflix would keep them occupied while you focus on driving, while soft toys and blankets could even encourage them to drift off to sleep.



3. Invest in travel trays
